European Tactical Airlift Programme (ETAP-C)
The European Tactical Airlift Programme (ETAP-C) is one of Europe’s leading advanced tactical airlift training initiatives, bringing together military transport crews from several air forces to improve interoperability and operational capability in demanding environments.
Working alongside the Spanish Air Force’s Ala 31 at Zaragoza Air Base, this project combined documentary photography with editorial reporting, capturing both the operational activity of the Airbus A400M Atlas fleet and the people, procedures and missions that sustain strategic air mobility.
Beyond producing visual content, the assignment involved researching, interviewing and developing long-form editorial articles published in both Spanish and international aviation magazines, providing readers with an in-depth perspective on one of Europe’s most important military airlift units.
The resulting work demonstrates an approach that goes beyond aviation photography, delivering visual storytelling tailored for editorial publications, institutional communication and specialist media.
